Starboard Settee Locker Drain

We have had our 97 Catalina MKII (#528) since 2015 and absolutely love it. We’ve lived on it for a year and sailed to the Keys twice. I need some advice on a problem I can’t seem to solve. When I fill the fresh water tanks using the anchor locker fill port, water leaks into the starboard settee locker. I have tried numerous times to find the leak but I can’t find it and usually scoop the inch or so of water out each time. I was thinking yesterday, when I was scooping, why the locker doesn’t drain into the bilge and if there is a way for me to do it. Seems strange it doesn’t have a drain hole. Appreciate any advice/recommendations. Thanks

Re: Starboard Settee Locker Drain

If it only happens after filling the tank I suspect you have a leak between the deck fill and the tank. Get a flashlight and mirror and have someone else fill the tank while you inspect.
