spectra ventura 150 low output

hello everybody,

i have a older spectra ventura 150 deluxe wich came with the boat.
it's producing low output.
i've changed a new mebrane and filters.
the output is around 3gallons/hour.
the pressure is at 50psi (falls a bit when the clarkpump strokes)
product flow jumps between 4 and 2 gph.
waterquality is at 450ppm.

i've read i might have to change the pumphead?
(currently cruising n nicaragua,hard to get spares....maybe in panama in a few months)

isnt' there a adjustment on the pumphead where i could set the pressure?
i havent found anything online about an adjustment procedure on a ventura 150.

There is no pressure adjustment on your pump. It does have a pressure switch on the pump head but that is just for setting the psi cut out. Your Clark pump has two cylinders and it only makes pressure on one cylinder at a time. When you watch your pressure gauge climb to 50psi and drop that is one cylinder stroke. The very next up and down of the pressure gauge needle is the second stroke. We need to know what the pressures on the gauge read for both strokes. If they are not the same then you may have a Clark pump issue. If they are the same then you have a bad pump head. Please feel free to PM me. I do more of these systems than anyone else.
