SMEV stove parts?

Hello

I was wondering if anyone has a good source or ideas on places to look for a SMEV stove parts.

The smaller burner is starting to not flow as much and may ned to be replaced.

you remove the burners undoing 2 little screws on top of the burners. They ave both powdered out. Anyone else seen this before/ Were you able to drill out and re-tapp with a slightly bigger screw.

anyone know this model its about 7 years old or so and have a parts diagram . Im struggeling to find info on line.

Re: SMEV stove parts?

These people appear to have them. Leisure Spares - Smev - popular parts smev

Seem to be easily found in Oz but UK would be cheaper.

SMEV are part of Dometic group so you can search there. Parts are easily available in UK. Fitted to a lot of caravans and RVs as well as canal boats and catamarans.

Re: SMEV stove parts?

We recently had problems with our 14 year old SMEV hob. Looked into repairing but a new hob worked out cheaper. Suggest if you have any rust around the burner tubes which are not stainless, just change the hob. We bought ours from Norfolk marine as suggested by El Pinguino

Re: SMEV stove parts?

Thanks for all the above leads. Ive been in touch with two of the above and they cant help.

Dometic customer support is horrible. No emails answered.

Another one of the vendors told me where to find the model number and am waiting on someone who can get into the boat to get it to me.

The newer burner caps wont fit the older stoves.

Id still be keen to hear from anyone who has had ever had to replace the burners with the same problem of the screw tops corroided out.
