Schenker Watermaker no automatic washing

Hi everybody

I just used the Watermaker that came with the ship for the very first time. After changing the filters and the new start procedure it was producing about 100 liters of water. the manual says to press stop, when you are done and the automatic washing should begin. But that did not happen. The model is a Modular 60 on 12 V. Anybody know what is wrong or what I did wrong?

Depends on your model. Is it the basic panel with 2 buttons, On/Off and Flushing?

If that, then there is probably a press and hold for xxx seconds for different functions.

On/Off just starts or stops, and on my Shenker Zen 50, I press On/Off to start, and finish with pressing the Flushing button.

We have the modular 60 (older version with the 3 switches and 3 buttons on the control panel). For the automatic washing after making water you have to turn all 3 switches to on and then press the start button. When you press the stop button the making water stops and then the flush begins automatically and then stops after about 20 secs.

At least ours did when it was working correctly!
