FWIW...
Residential systems are totally different than marine drains. I could not imagine putting enough garbage down my galley drain to clog the pipes which are essentially a straight shot down to the thru-hull. Not trying to bash Pegs product.

My galley sinks drain to a gray water tank. A hand pump empties that.
We wipe pans and throw dishwater overboard. If we don’t take care that tank gets stinky.
We use CP in the gray water tank and it helps the odors.
