Refrigeration on the cheap - MaxiCool?

Have read the articles on the “Stirling” and the “Engel35” refers\freezers.
I don’t think either will work for my small boat requirements.
An friend told me about a system that uses outside water for cooling (we are in cold water areas). I think he said it was a “MaxiCool”. Know anything about it? Haven’t been able to find anything on the site or the internet. THX in advance.
