refrigeration

I have a new to me adler Barbour z3311 condenser. I am not sure if it is a horizontal or a vertical model. Does it matter? Any help will be welcome.

Short answer Yes it matters.

Long answer: You'll want the discharge side to be lower then the inlet side of the condenser. So if horizontal above a compressor the lower line would be the discharge, higher line is from compressor..... In all cases. This so oil does not get trapped in the coil.
