Recommended wash down pump?

Hi,
I just purchased a Cruise RO 20gph water maker and would like to add a fresh water wash down hose in the cockpit. The pump will be used for rising the salt off the boat and myself. Defender has tons of different options, can anyone make a recommendation?

Re: Recommended wash down pump?

Can you just plumb freshwater to the cockpit using your existing freshwater pump, maybe by using a manifold?

Re: Recommended wash down pump?

First question: What pressure will you be needing?
Second question: What's your freshwater washdown budget? Do you have lots to spare?

I use a double pump unit for my saltwater washdown because I need to knock the mud off the chain and deck in a hurry. I can then follow up with adjusting the nozzle to a gentler spray pattern to rinse the stuff over the side without spattering it all over the cabinside.

I plan on installing a valve to select from salt to freshwater after I do the RO installation. Then I can have the option I envision you are considering.
