raw water strainers

Hi, I have a raw water strainer made by Howell Designs out of Point Pleasant, NJ. The metal strainer basket has a hole in it and I am looking for a replacement. From the research I've done on the web and with my local marine supply it seems that this type of raw water filter is quite old. Any help on where to find a replacement basket would be greatly appreciated! It's looking like I will need to replace the entire unit...
thanks

I would replace it entirely with something more common. This way you can get a strainer basket for it in the future. Perko comes to mind.

Until the one you buy now becomes the old one and is no longer supported. The age old problem, buy new so you can buy spares that aren't needed (because its new) but when spares are really needed, that item is no longer supported.
