As to tube vs. copper I'll look for the right supplier. Would be more comfortable working with tube for sure. Want to keep it as easy as possible.
Using flex rubber hosing is allowed at the appliances.
Hard line for supply.
Remember no compression fittings, flared tubing fitting per ABYC.
Diesel certainly has more caloric value, not near as tidy as propane though.

Flaring the connections looks easy enough but bending the cu tube could be tricky. It's not a straight run from the cockpit locker to the heater. Flexible tubing would be much easier.
I'll keep looking at both options.

Tube flares are fairly straight forward.
Bends can be achieved with tube benders.
But... Understood!
It ain't ever easy enough.
