I'm offering this as a PSA.
Have a sink drain that you wish could take up less room?
How about a
water heater relief valve that points in a
funny direction?
Or a
cockpit drain that interferes with access points?
A washdown
pump hose that intrudes into otherwise more useable space?
Not to worry.
When you have some downtime between more important things like varnishing and
beer, stop by your local NAPA store.
Ask to see/peruse the catalog of Molded Radiator/Coolant Hoses.
It has ~100 pages of ~40 hoses, (all with pictures,) per page, (that's almost a million,) that start out at ~3/8" up to ginormous, in an unbelievable range of convoluted shapes and lengths, and even ones with different sizes at each end.
You can visualize your needs, perhaps even cutting out a section of a given hose.
Will they pass muster with the Coast Guard or ABYC for below waterline use?
Probably not, but keep in mind that they are made to operate in extremes of ambient temps' while carrying 240-degree
coolant under pressure at high velocity flow rates.
I've used them for various above waterline applications over the years to solve "sticky" situations, and best of all:
They have a part #, so any replacement is easily obtained.
