Portable Reefers

Has anyone used a Norcold or Dometic portable refrigerator/freezer?
Do they cool as advertised? Will they work as a freezer?
How power hungy? They claim 2.5 to 4 amps.
My wife wants one, already picked out a spot for it.
Thank.

We have a Waeco 39qt size, we use it as a freezer to make ice cubes and store frozen food. It operates as advertised, quiet and draws a little under 3amps.
