Passive Drinking water harvester

We have sails, what about a passive drinking water harvester integrated into the boat?

Hmmm.

BEER. If you are going to drink expensive water, flavors are good.

Re: Passive Drinking water harvester

Yes, Hmmmm.

A square meter could support 360 (ish) watts of solar, which for us ran our 6gph water maker just fine (in addition to ALL our other electrical loads). No overly-awkward geometries to deal with, and a lot more "bang" for your very dear deck space buck. Plus, "multiple-use" of that deck space -- in terms of the product (electricity) running the refer, computer, charging, lights .......

The original idea is fine where space is not at a premium, a condition not often found on boats.

On the other hand, should you choose to be an early adopter, we would be thrilled to hear how it all worked out.

Works great ... if you already have the AC and its running, just collect the condensate. (And keep the condenser fins clean.)
