Odd tank fitting.

So was trying to get to my diesel tank for fuel polishing and the previous owner had used an odd size clean out cap (2-5/8") and the hex head broke off of it. I can't seem to find a cap to replace it.

Re: Odd tank fitting.

A few questions: What is the clean out cap made of? What is the tank made of? Is it a standard that you can find at a machine shop? Try Gary Brookins on Sand Island access road near La Marianna for some advice and he may even have one.
