Re: Need help with a source........

I don't recognize the head. So its kind of difficult without knowing make/model. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?

Re: Need help with a source........

I thought so too capngeo but I went to the Raritan website and nothing looked quite like it. It pretty obviously has a macerator pump but I'm not sure what the solenoid he is looking for does. The hose barbs make me suspect it is for filling the bowl since they are small diameter but he needs to provide a bit more info.

Re: Need help with a source........

the head in the picture is one of the Jabsco Quiet Flush Units. The solenoid is used on electric toilets when installed either below the water line and using salt water to flush or below the fresh water flushing source, which is my situation. The solenoid prevents water from flowing into the head when the toilet is not being flushed. I have been to the Jabsco web site as well as several web site that sell Jabsco toilets.
After an hour or so on the internet I thought I would see if anyone recognized the solenoid.

I found out late this afternoon, after posting my call for help, that the the solenoids were sourced from Budget Marine in St Martin so I am going to send them an email.

Thanks for trying to help....

Re: Need help with a source........

I FOUND IT!

Looked on the Budget Marine web site and saw a description of a "Solenoid-Valve/Siphon Breaker 12V" . No picture.

Googled that name and found multiple sources.

Thanks everyone.

Re: Need help with a source........

Double check it against this to make sure it's the right solenoid valve....'cuz there are two kinds...one goes in the intake for a toilet designed to use pressurized flush water...the other--the one you need--is an electric air valve in a vented loop.

37068-2000 Solenoid Valve > Toilet System Accessories > ITT Flow Control - Engineered for life.
