Mounting a vented loop

I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount a vented loop.

Is it as simple as driving some wood screws into the bulkhead

Or fabricate a plywood mounting block and glue it to the bulkhead with some bronze bolts sticking out similar to backing plates with flange bolts.

Some drilled and tapped g-10 plate would work also

I looked and searched, but there isn't a lot about the actual mounting of the center loops. Is there some kind of guidelines or best practices? The bolt/screw eyes are mid way on the loop, and it feels like you need a little bit of a spacer to clear the hose from the wall.

Our factory installed units are held in place with screws, and or bolt studs depending on size, either to the bulkhead behind, or plywood extensions !
