Lo PS on Cruisair Airconditioning unit

We have 2 Cruisair A/C units and they share a common seawater pump. When the cabin is hot and we first turn on the a/c the salon unit runs for a few minutes and then shuts down on low PS. If I shut it off and restart multiple times eventually it runs fine for weeks at a time. I’ve thoroughly cleaned all of the raw water lines and the coil. I’ve confirmed the air filter and raw water strainer are clean as well. I’m wondering if the low pressure switch is defective. I don’t know much about Airconditioning but suspect that if it were low on refrigerant the low PS would continually show up and not allow the unit to run for extended periods of time.

Hi Vanderd, I am not familiar with the Cruisair A/C but is it possible that the unit has a dual pressure switch, high and lo pressure combined? If it is, it would most likely be shutting off as described due to high pressure on the systems high side during initial start up.. On start up running a system usually has relatively high pressure on both high and low sides.
