Little Wonder 200 Producing 3 gallons per hr help

I have been using my village marine little wonder 200 GPD full time for the last 6 years. Has worked flawlessly until a few months ago. I have watched the output gradually diminish down to 3 gallons per hr and was forced to raise the pressure to 900 pounds just to get maximum output. Normally runs at 800 pounds and produces 8.2 gallons per hr. The membrane was replaced 1-1/2 years ago along with the plastic valves in the manifold. Any one have a clue as to the problem. Thank you in advance.

Re: Little Wonder 200 Producing 3 gallons per hr help

Have you followed the manual?

It says to clean anytime the output drops <85% of max.

Have you changed cruising grounds lately?

Increased consumption?

The troubleshooting section in the manual should be completed before you dive too much deeper..

You didn't mention the product water TDS?
With that type of flow drop, I would expect the TDS to go up also.

The fact the you need to increase the pressure uo to 900psi to get your production rate back is a sure sign that your membrane is plugging up....maybe from scale....maybe from biological materials from poor maintenance. But either way you seem to be looking at either a membrane cleaning or membrane replacement.

Did it ever run correctly with full output on the new membrane? Are you using a Parker/Racor membrane?
