Lectrasan electrode plate rip off

In New Zealand the 12V Electrode Plate for the Lectrasan is over NZ$600.00

I've just had a brand new one arrive today after a 14 day shipment from the USA for US$ 323 including shipping.

That's NZ$ 403.00

That's near NZ$ 200 still in MY pocket.

Haven't replaced one of these before. Should be interesting.

Re: Lectrasan electrode plate rip off

This an easy job but messy. You need to follow the instructions on flushing all the crap out of the system first before you open it up. You can get the acid for the clean from the pool shop easy enough here.

I bought mine from Smart Marine a couple of years ago and it was NZ$500+ then. Where did you get yours from?

Next time you need something like that I would appreciate the opportunity to quote you on it. I try hard not to get beat on prices and Priority Mail Postage from the US to NZ isn't too bad. I sell a lot of Raritan, Jabsco, Groco, Perko and a lot of other manufactures products. We have good prices on fishing tackle as well.
