Johnson 2200 bilge pump

Our Johnson 2200 bilge pump has an intermittent problem. It’s definitly within the pump itself. The switch is fine, connections fine, if I bang the pump pretty bad it will come on. It’s likely a poor connection within the pump, something I might be able to fix.

But I can’t see how to get the pump apart. I’m pretty sure I can see the seam. But how to pull the top and bottom half’s apart eludes me.

Any suggestions?
