Jabsco Toilet parts for Designer Series 37075 Compatibility with Other Series Toilets

Does anyone know if the bowl gasket (37017-0000) part no. 5, is the same on non-designer series toilets. It would seem that Jabsco uses the same part numbers on similar parts on different series of toilets which are not the same part. For Example the Bowl installation Hardware part No. 18753-0604 on the designer series 37075 uses T-nuts not cap nuts as used on other series toilet, yet it is the same part no.. Thus, you must order parts by part numbers that fit a certain series of toilets.

Why I ask is that, I think I need a need bowl gasket for my 37075, but the only place I can find the part with reference to the 37075 series is in Great Britain. The common "Service Kit" (not specified for a Design Series toilet has a gasket, but it did not stop the leak.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the answer to this one, so I second Ranger's advice: call Paul Campagna. It's what I'd have to do.

Thank all for your help. This is what I have determined after talking to Paul Campagna (978-282-5246) ( apparently you can also call David Mendoza at Jabsco (949-608-3934) , who was very helpful.

Bowl Gasket #5 on the drawing, Part No 37004-0000 is the same for all models if the base has a countersunk o-ring groove. Pre- 1999 Models have a flat white gasket, and is the same part no., the base does not have an o-ring groove

The base, part no. 37004-1000, if it has an o-ring groove, is the same for all models.

Note - Service Kits, part No. 90197-100 is the same for all models, but only has the o-ring for the later models..
