I am reviving an older
Jabsco 36900
pump that I bought at a swap meet for $5 several years ago as a back-up. It's repaired and pumps like a champ, but I have a problem with the pressure switch. There are two tabs for the 12 volts to pass through on the way to the
pump, and it will shut off the pump at 40 psi. The problem is one of the tabs is broken off flush. This is the tab on what appears to be a moving piece, as it's pinned on one end. My thought is to drill a small hole adjacent to the flush contact metal, and fasten a new tab that contacts both the stub and the screw. Feasible?
