Hi
Our hot
water tank is right under our bunk, and as such when we
motor anywhere, the heat build up in the
cabin is significant. We
cruise in hot climates anyway so this extra radiated heat is not welcome.
I have lagged the
heater with foam to try and keep the radiated heat down, but not enough.
Has anyone fitted a simple stop valve in their
engine coolant pipe that feeds the
water heater, to stop the
coolant from ever getting to the hot water tank? This way we can control if we want hot water or not!
I cannot think of any problems, but just incase.....
Thanks in advance
C.
