In case any of y'all might be interested...

Sailboatowners.com is offering signed copies of my book...order from them, they send me the order along with any personalized signing instructions. I have books on hand to sign and mail. Link is here: Sailboatowners.com

Just thought it worth mentioning....

Wow! No wonder your postal service is losing money. (But I’m sure a great value for the book )

I'm thinking to drill two 1 1/2'' holes on each end of the top of my black holding tank and connect two ventilation hoses to two thru hulls on port and starboard just below the toe rail (way above water line)… my rectangular tank sits across the boat under the V berth. Is your book addressing thus type of ventilation ideas?

Peggy, Let me say thank you for writing this book.
Your writing demystified the marine head. The knowledge has been very helpful to me.

Any boat owner who does not already have Peggie’s book should take advantage of this offer and of the complete, clear and valuable information in her book.

I bought a copy years ago and just bought the Kindle version of the new edition so it would be easy to keep on board.

Re: In case any of y'all might be interested...

AK has a domestic US zip code...it costs the same to mail a large envelope to AK via 1st class mail as it does to any other state.

Or maybe you didn't recognize USPS as "United States Postal Service" and mistook it to be UPS?

Methinks you're right. I'm the one who's mailing it and will invoice them for the postage. PM or better yet, email your postal code to me and I'll reply with the correct amount.

Re: In case any of y'all might be interested...

Yes...it does. And a whole lot more. The title (my publisher's idea) is a bit misleading...'cuz although it does deal with every source of odor on a boat and how to cure, or better yet PREVENT 'em, it's actually a comprehensive "marine toilets and sanitation systems 101" manual that explains the laws, describes all the types of systems and how they work, and will help you learn how to operate and maintain your system to prevent 99% of problems instead of having to cure 'em. 'Cuz you get to do any preventive maintenance on your terms when it's convenient...the need to cure a problem never happens when it is!

And I'm always glad to answer any questions it doesn't.

Apparently sbo.com's shipping software is defaulting to Priority mail for every order...I'm getting PMs from people saying they'd like to order a copy, but the shipping is too high. I know they're actually going 1st class mail 'cuz I'm the one who's mailing them. I'll call 'em in the morning (Monday) to get it fixed.

I do appreciate y'all wanting to buy it!
