Did you run the filter after the pump or before?

The filter system was placed after the pump.

Did you ever come up with an LED version of the UV lamp? (for lower power and less heat added)

Not yet. I spoke with a leading developer last week. It looks like comparative LED UVC treatment systems are still 4-5 years out.
