How to disassamble Jabsco quiet flush macerator pump?

Hallo,

Our Jabsco quiet flush is leaking and I wanted to servce it and replace all the o-rings and seals, however I cannot get the pump with the marcerator out of the foot unit, the black plastic is like glued to the white foot and does not move out.

Is there any trick to disassemble the unit without breaking it apart?

On the YT servicing videos it looks easy, it just falls apart when removing the 4 screws, but in reality...

Thank you for any hint.

You have the manual, too? When I rebuilt one, there weren't any issues that I remember. It was pretty straightforward, IIRC.

OTOH, after doing that, I then still found it easier/better to just replace the whole thing. Our original had become pretty loud, this at about 8 years old or so... and a new pump/motor assembly made it "quiet" again. 15-minute replacement, not much "yuk!" involved.

Yes, the two parts simply stick together. I could remove the nut and the knive from inside, not sure I can assemble it that way back. No way to get it out.
