Ecotech watermaker fittings

Hello,

I need to replace the following fitting on my watermaker. It looks like something fairly standard but nobody seems to recognize it. (The actual connector, not the pipe which can be made up, presumably.)

Any suggestion most welcome.

Re: Ecotech watermaker fittings

We have that brand water maker onboard. They are a European based hydraulic fitting to the best of my knowledge, when we were in the US the local hydraulic shops had a hard time coming up with any solution that worked well outside of a string of adapters put together.

It wasn't until we got to Martinique that we 'very' easily had new hoses made up, but due to the language barrier I couldn't quite pull out the exact name of these connectors.

I did reach out to Echotec directly, they never named the fittings but did say they were available to purchase if you reach out to them:

The hose is standard 3/8” R1 hydraulic hose. The fittings can usually be reused once they are removed carefully to avoid damaging the threads.

Our location in Stuart does not currently stock spare parts. Replacement high pressure hose is US$ 7 per foot and the fittings are available at US$ 50 and US$ 80 for the straight and elbow respectively. Shipping to Florida is available at US$ 50 via FedEx Priority (3 days).

Thank you. Nobody seems to have heard of those fittings. May need a machine shop to make them, ouch! Here is a close up:-
