Echotech replacement hp pump

Hi All.....cruising buddy now in Suez is looking to replace his Echotech hp pump....has been rebuilt a couple times, and he’s looking for new. Wants pump only, and not liking Echotech mark up......has anyone been able to identify the original manufacturer for the Echotech Pump pictured? They strip all manufacture’s tags.

Limited info available too.... The watermaker produces 38L per hour, and the pump pressures up to 900psi max. I have no other specs.

All info towards sourcing a new pump appreciated. Drive motor running fine.

Lots of pumps out there. You'd need the shaft diameter if you're going to use the same cog drive. Pump shown is probably made by someone else and just branded Echotec. Probably made in China.
What's on the label might help if it's in someones cross reference.
Once you have the shaft size and physical dimensions, you might try eBay.

Cat Pumps are the “premium” brand out there for this style of high pressure pump. Get a stainless steel one with ceramic plungers and you’ll rebuild it once or twice a decade with an hour of daily use.

You’ll need to know the total flow rate to get an exact spec, but in the absence of that, assume the total flow rate is 10X the fresh water production rate, so in your case about 400 l/hour.

Re: Echotech replacement hp pump

Looks like a General Triplex pump to me. You'll need the hp rating of the motor and the gear ratio of the cogs to size the pump properly. Their catalog is very helpful.

Good luck,
