Dual Frequency AirCon

I have a Marine Air 16000 BTU air conditioner, model number VCP16KZLH-407. This unit is rated for 208-240/60Hz and 200/50Hz operation. I have been using this in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand all at 50Hz with varying dock voltages of 215 to 250V without issue (2+ years). The only time I had a voltage/frequency problem was in Malaysia at a dock which would dip less than 200V; the unit would trip offline. I have not yet run the unit at 60Hz but maybe will if I reach the Phillipines in December!

The unit draws about 8A including a March 230V, 50/60 Hz magnetic drive pump, model BC-3CP-MD (you might want to double check the March pump model number).

I have 2 mermaid 1 16500 btu
1 at 6500 btu
From ft Myers fl I think. They are 230 v 50/ 60 hz.
They run fine on both euro 230 and USA 240
They were special ordered as such and I paid a small premium from the web prices maybe a 100$ or so
By the way the small one will start on the inverter and run from the batteries.
