Does anyone recognise this manual bilge pump?

Hello wise forum,

Wondering if anyone recognises this manual bilge pump? I have had no luck on the internet yet. In pictures it looks quite like some Whale models but there are no markings to indicate the brand other than a logo that looks like EMK. If I can find spares it might be saved!

“EM” could refer to Edson Marine.

Any clues as to where you found it?

It has an industrial look to it.. that face plate looks like something I would expect to find in a ship's lifeboat.

Something deep within is saying 'Danish' to me........ but that may just be my stomach...

Re: Does anyone recognise this manual bilge pump?

Hi El Pinguino,
The pump came off my boat, a 1980 built in Italy Carter 50 Offshore. I don't know if it was the original pump fitted or if one of the 2 previous owners put it in. Thanks for your help anyways!

Bingo!
And from an Italian supplier, where the boat was built.

Thanks pcmm! That is the same cover so great lead! I've looked at them and although it is a hatch cover of some sort it does seem to point to a Whale Henderson pump. Still digging!
