Condensate pan tablets

I have an aquarium venturi pump that pulls the water out of the condensate pan on my A/C. Unfortunately, there is always a little water left in the pan, both because the hose doesn't get every last drop and when the raw water pump stops, there is a small amount of back flow from the venturi into the pan. It is enough, however, to provide a growth medium for all sorts of crud and goo, which will probably block the venturi in time.

Can anyone recommend a condensate pan tablet/cleaner/biocide that won't produce a strong smell and is effective? I would prefer something without chlorine, if possible. I see a ton of them on google, but wanted to see if anyone had recommendation before I rolled the dice.
