Cleaning Rule 2000 Bilge pump

Rule pumps have an oil sensor which shuts down the pump. How do you clean the sensor? Can the sensor be removed?

Thanks,

Dot and John

Re: Cleaning Rule 2000 Bilge pump

I had the same problem (engine leaked a few drops of oil), thst's why I hate the 'sensored pumps'. I bought a manual bilge pump and separate float switch. End of problem
