black netting ventalation

I was in green cove marina everyone is using this black mesh to cover thier boats for ventalation . everyone swears by this stuff,the question does anybody know where to get it,or any opinions about it.

Search the internet for black mesh tarps or similar.

I think the material you mention is called "shade cloth". Here in Australia, you can buy it from any hardware store. It also has agricultural applications, so that would be another possible source. Finally, there is a pvc net material called "Breezeway", which you can order through any sailmaker or the places that make cloth dodgers. Ask the guys on the boats next to you where they got it.

In the Green Cove Springs area the biggest users of that cloth are fern growers. Look for it at agricultural supply stores.
On the St. Johns river you see it frequently on boats being used to keep off the "blind mosquitos", otherwise known as midges.
