Re: Air Preassure In The Freshwatersystem
Do you have sight gauges on the tanks? I Have a sight gauge on mine and if left on sometimes the f/w pump can suck air through the gauge. Or check for leaks between the tanks and the pump.

Re: Air Preassure In The Freshwatersystem
Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, AJ-SSCS.
Run the water (from the furthest tap) 'till it stops expelling air.

Re: Air Preassure In The Freshwatersystem
As Gordon suggested, this is a normal occurrence after running a tank dry then re-filling or switching to a full tank. It should clear within a minute or so. Depending on how your freshwater system is plumbed and how many faucets it serves you may need to bleed all of the faucets on the boat (hot and cold water) to clear all of the air out of the system.
If you have bled all of the faucets for a minute or more and still get air then you likely have a leak on the suction side of the pump or the pump has a leak. Filters can be another source of the leak.

Re: Air Preassure In The Freshwatersystem
You will need to run the FW system with ALL faucets open, including the shower if you have one. There is obviously air in the system. The usual culprit is the hot water tank, which may only be partially filled. It should have a pressure overflow valve. Open that until you have a steady stream of water. Then purge all of the faucets, including hot water until all the air is purged. Then top off tanks before they're empty. Chuck

May not be needed here, but, I use the shop vac to pull water up to get some of my pumps primed.

Welcome to CF, AJ-SSCS!!!
As everybody said previously.... If you've run all the taps, and you're still getting air spitting out... You've gut a suction side air leak...
Start with the O-rings, strainers, and connections right at the pump...
