The
Head is an old (circa 1600) Nautical term for the ships
toilet. Usual situated at the ‘jead’ of the ship in the belief that the
water flow would help wash away anything deposited there in. So not sure I would be wanting to fill my water bottle or wash my dishes there. In the Middle east amd in South East
Asia it is common to have a hose in the ‘ Head ‘ to facilitate the
cleaning of the neather regions after one has used the head. Again npt the ideal location to do ones dishes or fill a wter bottle. But each to thoer own i guess. ‘ Nowt as Strange as Folk as we say in Yorkshire.
