can someone help me find a used crankshaft i also need a connecting rod

any help or leads would be helpfull, the boat is in st thomas

Have asked a good mate of mine in Australia (Marine Dealer) actually John Deere but gets around many of the yards in Brisbane and does numerous re powers ,

Saw an add on Ebay USA with a guy selling the con-rods but the crank was sold also saw another add for the crank but said it was scored and needed grinding???

Whats actually wrong with your old crank?

Try Ebay. Always many Yanmar parts. Also tractor wrecking yards. Lots of Yanmars in tractors and field equipment.

i was told it spun the rod bearing ,i dont see how it could still run
very high praise for the rebuilder in st thomas ,from all who have used him

When you spin a rod bearing, many can still run, but usually very quickly pick up a hollow knock, that of course gets louder

Found a 2gm crankshaft in Australia at a engine re-builder, standard size crack tested and polished up ready to go, will post/fedx/dhl(@your cost) or what ever , asking 1000 Aust dollars - contact me for details

The crank can be repaired if it's not in pieces. If undersize bearings are available, it can be turned down or crank repair companies hard chrome the bad journal oversize and polish it back to standard size.
