yeah based on your last bit of evidence, I would say it's just fine. Last thing to check is the temp of the stuffing box while underway. Again if it's uncomfortable to hold on to, then it's too tight, it should be warm, but not hot. If it's hot its cutting into your shaft. If it's cool, then you can tighten it down a little more.

Adjusting
Water is required to lubricate conventional packing, so a properly adjusted stuffing box can be watertight when the shaft is stopped, but it must drip when the shaft is turning. Two or three drops per minute are adequate. It is not uncommon to see stuffing boxes leak at a much higher rate.

Don Casey stated max about 6 drips per minutes, even engine running?
Mine is dripping more when Engine is running..

Looks like you are contradicting some of your statements.

You may want to reread Don Casey's write up.

Btw, things are going to get expensive fast if you are having a mechanic repacking and adjusting your stuffing box.

It can be PITA if it's hard to reach, but it ain't rocket science.

Sorry to confuse you, maybe I may miss understood mr. Casey's. I thought he stated, even engine is not running there is some drips. I understand it's is normal have some dripping but I though mine is kind of more.
I talked with my mechanic and show him a video, he told me still normal and he will check out and adjust it again,. Felt better.
Thank you for your advice.
I will read mr. Casey's book again.
