Hi readers, I wanted to ask those of you who have done this
repair to reply with any tips for repairing the cone
clutch for a
sd50 saildrive.
Here are some questions I am not sure of.
Do you have to disconnect the
engine from the
sd50 saildrive?
Where can I
purchase this special tool to
lift the assembly?
What part/parts do I have to actually buy from
Yanmar to fix the cone
clutch? Any discounts available?
Does
Yanmar have a
repair kit for the cone clutch?
Would be great if you can give a simple step by step process.
Just don't want to have to do more than necessary for the job.
