Pss Seal back to packing gland

After trying for 8 years with a PSS Dripless seal we are now reverting to our old Stuffing box.
The reason is twofold

One is we couldn't move the shaft back enough to change a gearbox oil seal so we had to haul to do this. Very limited shaft movement.

Second one is we have a long shaft and our shaft has a brake on it that is like a fly wheel and caused the shaft to knock on the old stern tube at certain rpm.
Lovely idea but not for us i'm afraid.
Anyone need one LOL
