PropSpeed or PropGlide?

I've coated the propellers with Propspeed probably 4 times now. Good results, I'd say.

Now I see a similar, less expensive product, Propglide. Has anyone here used this product and had results to share?

Applying Propspeed is a bit tedious, but not too bad. Worse part is removing the old Propspeed before recoating. I've been using paint remover, but this requires multiple applications. First time removal was before I took over doing the propellers, and the yard used a sandblaster. I didn't like how hard this was on the gears of these folding props.

Does anyone know of a better way to strip the old finish off? Perhaps I should have used a wire brush first.

I used a Grinder with Nylon (I think that's what they were made of) sanding discs - Came off quite easily - probably around an hours work for 1 sail drive and 3 blade folding prop.

Use a Roloc Bristle Disk by 3M. You will be amazed how easy the process is.

Re: PropSpeed or PropGlide?

Actually, I think I have one of those nylon strippers somewhere, unless it's what Orion posted.

But to be sure, I just ordered some Rolocs too.

Thanks to you both
