Prop Shaft Stopped by Fishing Line

Thanks for helping. I didn't try to turn the prop in neutral right after seizing to a stall in gear. I will try that as it sounds like the easiest way to check if my problem is aft of the transmission. I hope if it's something inside the shaft tube or wrapped around the shaft in the middle of the cutlass bearing I can clear it without pulling her out..wish me luck
