Prop Shaft Source on Alabama Gulf Coast

Currently on the hard for a long overdue haul-out.

Need to consider purchasing a new prop shaft.

Anyone have experience having one fabricated around the Alabama gulf coast?

What do you think a 4-5 foot, 1 1/8 inch shaft should cost? (low budget sailor here.)

What grade stainless steel are prop shafts made from?

I'm sure I can find one on my own, but just hoping someone may have a good idea based on experience in this area.
