It's very unlikely Beneteau installed it incorrectly. Possible, but doubtful.
If it is a KM4, and it's running in reverse then they would have needed left hand rotation on the prop when it was installed. I could see it failing early from running in reverse because there is an idler gear in the top port corner of that box.

Possible, but doubtful.
I would find it hard to believe that this is possible as they would surely do the same with each boat. They would have one of two issues resulting. All their installations would be failing, or...surely someone would make note that how come we need a L/H prop when we always order R/H props. One off's yeah, but a production company surely would not.
