I was recently away from the
boat for over a month. As expected when I got back on board I had a lot of
marine growth on the prop and shaft. I did a little
experiment before I dived down with my scrapper to tackle the mess, I fired up my
electric propulsion system and just powered it forward and reverse at the

Happily, most of the soft
marine growth disappeared off the prop and shaft leaving just the
barnacles to be scraped off.
