I need a prop

Hello,
I am rebuilding a 2000 Bavaria 42 that sank. I need a new prop, but the old one is so messed up I can not read the stamp of what size it is. I measured it and the diameter is 16, but I have no idea what the pitch is. It has a 60 hp Volvo pent a with a sail drive. If anyone knows what size i need or how I can figure it out, it would be greatly apreshiated. Thank you

Re: I need a prop

Check with the builder, but any good prop manufacturer can probably make a recommendation better than the average yatchsman. Better prop makers will probably have info on your hull and may give options on power vs economy.
