Same gut feeling here.

IMHO 15'' prop could be smallish on a Bene 37.

We have a 15'' prop in a 26' boat that displaces 3t light and a motor that revs up to 2500. Cruising at 1500-2000.

It is just my impression not a fact based in any calculations. Possibly much higher motor revs on the Bene explain the 'small' size. This would make sense.

It could also be that they are speccing based on tip clearance. Depending on the boat it can very quickly be the limiting factor even if you would normally prefer a larger diameter.
