Brunton Varifold 3 blade 17” x 15”

During my west to east North Atlantic crossing, between Azores and Portugal one of my Brunton Varifold propeller mysteriously got lost.

This is what I found attached to the shaft. Seems to me like 3 hex screws broke.

Has this happened to anyone of you?

The props were installed by the Factory 3 years ago. I inspected them in the water before the ocean crossing and they seemed good.

The whole assembly dropped off leaving nothing but a chunk of the hub? Is there a chance of bad contact to the annode? I've seen stainless look fine at the head, but completely corrode away where it could not get oxygen.
