Re: bearings

Hi Robert and welcome to the forum,

Perhaps a little more detail would help.

Are you looking for a yard to do the job or instructions on how to do the job yourself or just specs on the bearings needed to do the job?

Re: bearings

Who have you tried contacting regarding information.
I have found Fox's at Ipswich and Dickies at Bangor (both Bene dealers) to be very helpful.
If it is of use, and the set up is similar to the 473, I have attached a PDF of the lower bearing re-attachment.
In the case of the 473 and other models, it was not the bearing suffering from wear, but that it detached itself from the shaft.

Re: bearings

The copper part needs a slice taken out of it and the nylon part is still usually ok
