Anti-Fouling Propellers

Since soft bottom paint doesn't hold well what would be the downside of copper plating the propellor...providing you have good zincs?

The local marine chrome platers in Perth, Australia. They didn't bat an eyelid at the request. It is a bronze prop.

I would think any chrome plating outfit should be able to handle this work as copper plating is normally a part of the chrome plating technique AFAIK.
