I've take the three day course for boat owners, it's a great environment. You get your own engine to work on. The guys who teach this are extremely knowledgeable.

No the nearist one is bout 100 miles or so.

Check out the
The WoodenBoat School They have a 5 day class. with yanmar and several others. The instructor is top notch. I really enjoyed the class.

Yanmar school is OK...but as with most companies...they spend a lot of time talking about the product.

The schools are pretty much for people currently working for a dealer. IIRC
